A “Photographic Safari” need not involve Lions, wildebeest or elephants and if this one does, then something went wrong.
The idea is that teams are formed , an assignment is..assigned and the team goes out and creates a photographic project. Months pass. Then each team presents it’s project to tumultuous applause or a chorus of raspberries.
Some details will be filled in this evening and teams will be selected. Don’t be absent, or you risk being voted team leader.
Also tonight, Our treasurer will ask the question “What is photography for?”
It’s likely that no two members share exactly the same reasons for being a photographer. Being a member of a camera club is not what you have a camera for. You have a camera because…well- why do you have a camera? We will hear one person’s take on this tonight. Maybe you would like to give us another?
