Gillian Hume

I have been a member of Haddington Camera Club since 2019, having joined in attempt to have more of a focus for my very amateur, snap-happy photography.  
 
I like to photograph subjects that are static, and am drawn to either small, textured nature or coastal landscapes.  
 
I particularly enjoy coastal photography as I enjoy the light and how it varies. 
 
As a busy mum and teacher, it can often be difficult to fit in specific photography trips, so photos are often snapped on the go, and increasingly taken on my phone.  I enjoy some simple editing within Lightroom and photoshop but rely on a bit of Google and YouTube to help with step-by-step guides.  
 
One day, I may even take the camera off ‘auto’!
