Mike Harvey

I’ve always been interested in photography but for many years work got in the way. When I retired I joined Haddington camera club and resolved to get out and shoot more. Two changes of kit later (boys love toys) I’m loving using my OM1 and participating in club activities. I don’t really have a favourite genre but I do love sunsets and birds. I’m also a big fan of black and white photography. More recently I’ve begun to take an interest in astrophotography and am getting some good images from a smart telescope. I’m gradually getting better at post processing ( a time consuming activity if ever there was one) though dealing with astro images is a whole new dimension. I’ve learnt a lot from being a member of HCC and would recommend our club to photographers of any standard.
