Muriel Huggins
I have been interested in photography since my Dad bought me my first Ricoh compact camera when I was about ten year old. However, I only started learning about using a camera properly about 20 years ago when I got my first Nikon DSLR and took an online course in photography with the Shaw Academy a few years later.
At first I was interested in portraits inspired by life events ; the birth of my son, followed soon after by our first family dog. However, most recently, (and to the relief of my son!) I have become most fond of nature and wildlife photography and spend a lot of my spare time at the sea shore, Musselburgh Lagoons or visiting various wildlife hides trying to improve my technique and getting to know different species better.
It’s great being part of such an active club with so many members sharing their expertise and areas of interest. I hope you enjoy this selection of some of my recent favourites.
